Should you avoid exercise?
The Answer You're Looking For.
"I tried a few workouts and exercises I found on YouTube and Instagram."
I can't count the number of times I've heard that, only for it to be followed by:
“Nothing works”.
The frustration: You aren’t seeing any significant improvements in your pain or weaknesses, so you're stuck doing boring exercises and avoiding activities like playing with your kids, going to the gym, or going on a run or walking with friends.
You start to believe you’re stuck with this pain.
It seems like nothing is working because you’re playing the guessing game. A game of “i’ll try this and see how it goes”. Only to perform the exercise for 2 days, not see results, and move on to the next exercise. Rise and repeat.
A few weeks and eventually months pass you by, and nothing changes.
The solution:
1. Identify the biggest limiting factors that are holding you back right now.
2. Address those issues early + often until they no longer get in your way.
3. Once these issues are resolved, move on to tackle the next challenge….do one thing, and do it well. THEN move on to the next.
It takes patience, but it works.
You’ll want to rush. You’ll get bored. You’ll want to do too many things at the same time. Resist the temptation.
That’s what’s keeping you stuck on the never ending cycling of “trial and error”.
It’s time to get something done and get back to training the way you enjoy and living to your full potential.
