What do You ACTUALLY Struggle With?

Have you ever asked yourself, “What am I really struggling with?”

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about this recently. It’s not always easy to admit when things aren’t going well, especially when you’re trying to keep everything together. A few years ago I found myself facing a struggle I hadn’t anticipated.

For years, I had been dedicated to my fitness and health. But after becoming a parent, I lost my way. The demands of a new routine, the sleepless nights, running a business, and the constant feeling of being “on” left me drained. My health and fitness began to slip, and with it, I experienced more pain and discomfort. Motivation felt like a distant memory, and burnout was a constant companion.

I didn’t like who I was becoming. I felt like I was failing—not just myself, but my family too. I knew I needed to change, but it took time to gather the strength to take that first step.

That’s when I decided to challenge myself and I took on the 75 Hard challenge, something I knew I needed. It was tough, but it helped me find my footing again. It helped me find the gym again. It helped me find routine. I also returned to running, a passion of mine that I had let go. Slowly, the pieces started to fall back into place. My body felt stronger, my mind clearer, and for the first time in a long while, I felt like myself again.

This journey taught me something important: we all have our struggles. Some are physical, like pain that keeps us from being active or playing with our kids. Others are mental, like the resistance to change or the feeling of being too overwhelmed to even try. But no matter what your struggle is, it’s important to face it, to acknowledge it, and to decide that it doesn’t have to define you.

So I ask you: what’s holding you back? Maybe it’s pain that’s holding you back from being active with your friends at the gym, or kids at home. Maybe it’s a resistance to change, a stubbornness to seek help even when you know you need it.

Take some time this week to really think about it. What would your life look like if you made a change? How would it feel to wake up without pain, to move freely, to be fully present with your loved ones?

I know it’s not easy. But I also know that the first step is always the hardest—and the most important. I did it, and you can too. If you’re dealing with pain and are ready to make a change, simply reply “CHANGE” to this email and we will start moving forward, today.
